Muling pinagtibay ng Antipolo City Government, sa pamumuno ni Mayor Jun Ynares, ang layunin nitong wakasan ang paglaganap ng sakit na HIV at AIDS sa isinagawang covenant signing kasama ang United Nations (UN) AIDS Philippines at League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) sa ginanap na "Mayor's Declaration To Fast-Track Cities: Ending the AIDS Epidemic" noong Setyembre 21, 2018 sa Antipolo City Hall. Nakiisa rin sa covenant signing sina Councilor Philip "Bong" Acop, Councilor Enrico De Guzman, UNAIDS Ph. Country Director Dr. Louie Ocampo at LCP Program Officer April Mosquera. Ang Antipolo ang ika-11 na lungsod sa buong bansa na lumagda ng naturang kasunduan.
