The U.S. State Department, International City/County Management Association (ICMA), and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability have opened the applications for the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Sustainable Development and the Environment Professional Fellows Program (PFP) for Fall 2019.

The program offers young professionals in the Philippines the opportunity to learn about environmental sustainability through a four-week, intensive fellowship at a local government or a nonprofit in the United States. By the end of the program, participants are expected to gain practical expertise, leadership skills, and professional contacts which they can utilize as they pursue their advocacies back in their home communities.

We highly encourage competent LGU employees and officers to take part in this program. Applicants must be 25 to 35 years old, proficient in English, and employed full-time with at least two (2) years’ worth of professional experience.

Interested parties may visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ICMA_YSEALI_Fall19 to apply. Please note that the deadline of applications is on March 30, 2019.
