The Social Work Department under the College of International, Humanitarian and Development Studies at Miriam College, will be offering their 5th Executive Course on International and National Humanitarian Systems and Tools in Disaster Management on May 22-23, 2013.

The course aims to provide participants with a grounded understanding on three major topics:

 

 1. Understanding hazards, risks and disasters and the implementation challenges,

 2. Understanding humanitarian protocols and systems and links as part of early warning systems, coordination and

 3. Information humanitarian tools and effective leadership to humanitarian responses.
